Parent School Family Association
Who are we?
The Brent School PSFA is a registered charity which directly benefits the children at The Brent Primary School.
It is run by volunteers, made up of parents/carers, staff and friends of the school. All parents/carers with a child at The Brent, are members of The PSFA.
We usually hold regular meetings, to which all members are welcome to attend. At these meetings we discuss fund raising ideas and vote on how to spend the funds raised.
PSFA Meeting Dates
The PSFA is looking to get back on track and dates will be added when available.
Why do we do this?
The PSFA work to add to the community feel of The Brent. Many activities are organised to bring families together. Other activities are used to raise funds for 'extras' for the children, such as supporting the upkeep of the school pool and a pantomime visit. Other items purchased by the PSFA include the trim trail, Friendship House and outdoor stage.
How do we raise funds?
Organised events throughout the years have included:
- Inflatable Day
- Summer Fayre
- Family BBQ
- Christmas Fayre
- Book Swap
- Phil the Bag (clothes for cash)
- Second-hand Uniform Sales
How can you help?
You can help as much or as little as you wish, helping out doesn't have to involve much commitment; just an hour or two occasionally to help out at events will be more than appreciated. The results of your efforts can directly benefit your children.
