O2/NSPCC - Keeping Kids Safe Online

Today children and young people tend to know more about mobiles, the internet and social media than adults. O2 and the NSPCC have written a guide to help adults understand what young people really do on their mobiles and the internet; and to help parents talk to their children openly about the risks, so they know how to protect themselves.  This also provides a link to Net Aware, your guide to the latest social networks, apps and games your kids use.

Thinkuknow is the education programme from NCA-CEOP, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline.

Safesurfing Project

People with a learning disability are especially at risk of being hurt online.  The Mencap SafeSurfing project teaches people with a learning disability to use the internet in a safe way.
