St Davids Day
St David’s Day is on 1st March. Saint David is the patron saint of Wales. We celebrate St. David’s Day on the 1st of March. This day is called Dydd GwylDewi in Welsh. Here you can learn how St David's Day is celebrated and discover how you can celebrate St David's Day at home.

Lunar New Year
Currently it is the Year of the Ox.
Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is the grandest festival in China, with a 7-day long holiday. As the most colorful annual event, the traditional CNY celebration lasts longer, up to two weeks, and the climax arrives around the Lunar New Year's Eve. The Lunar New Year/Spring Festival in 2022 will be celebrated on Tuesday 1st February. It will be the Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese zodiac, which features a 12-year cycle with each year represented by a specific animal.
Shrove Tuesday
Shrove Tuesday marks the start of the Christian festival of Lent. People traditionally cook and eat pancakes to use up foods such as fat, eggs and milk before Lent.
Next year Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) is on 1st March 2022 .
