As Inclusion Co-Ordinator, my role is to ensure that we fully meet the needs of all pupils at The Brent Primary School. This can include academic, medical, cultural or emotional issues.
I work closely with our parents and carers, so that we can provide the support that may be needed. I liaise with our skilled and experienced Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants in all year groups and also with our School Nurse, local paediatricians, Specialist Teachers, Educational Psychologist and one-to-one counsellors. Together, we can enable all of our pupils to excel and fully enjoy all aspects of life at The Brent Primary School.
We have members of staff trained to deliver targeted programmes of support for difficulties with Numeracy or Literacy, as well as fine and gross motor skills, social communication difficulties, emotional issues, Dyslexia, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Diabetes etc.
I am responsible for ensuring that all of our pupils' needs are identified at an early stage and will be met, monitored and regularly reviewed. It is only through regular communication with parents and carers that I am able to do this and your input and support is highly valued.
Please feel free to contact me regarding any issues or concerns you may have about your child. I am available from 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday - Thursday and can be contacted via the school office on 01322 223943.
I look forward to meeting you and ensuring that we fully meet the needs of your child whilst in our care.
