The Breakfast Club is located in the School's Windmill Diner which is now located in the Main Hall.
Access to The Breakfast Club is via the Main Hall Canopy doors – please use the doorbell.
To register your child please collect and complete a registration form, available from the school reception.
The cost of Breakfast Club is £2 per child per day.
The Breakfast Club session runs from 7.45am until 8.40am.
Breakfast is served until 8.30am to allow sufficient time to prepare the food and for the children to sit and eat.
Children will be escorted by staff into School at the end of the session.
No booking is required, children can just attend on the day and pay for the session.

If your child has an existing Emergency Care Plan in School, a copy will also be held at Breakfast Club. Only essential medication for a lasting condition approved by the Headteacher and Governing Body, may be brought into School and Breakfast Club. Such medication will only be administered after completion of a 'Parental agreement for School to administer medicine' form (Form 3A). Please contact Mrs Clucas, Family Liaison Co-ordinator, if your child requires such medication to be administered.
If your child has an Epi Pen or Inhaler, it is parent's responsibility to ensure an additional one is handed to Breakfast Club staff. This will then be returned to the parent at the end of the day. The Base is located in the School’s Windmill Diner in the Main Hall.
To register your child please collect and complete a registration form, available from the School reception.
The cost for a part session up to 4.45pm, is £5.00.If children are collected after this period of time, the cost of a full session at £7.50 will be charged. Part session can also be after a club, from 4.15pm.
A full session runs from 3.10/3.20pm until 5.30pm, the cost for this is £7.50.
Children should always be collected promptly at 5.30pm. Please note that failure to do so will result in a ‘late charge’ of £8.00 per child for each extra half hour, in addition to the cost of the session.
Places for the week need to be booked and paid for by 12 noon on a Monday in order for arrangements to be made for staffing and food. If bookings are not booked and paid for on Monday for the week, or in the event of a place being needed at short notice, the charge for each child for the full session will be £8.50 and £6.00 for the part session. In this instance payment should be made when collecting your child/ren.
Any monies outstanding will incur a late charge of £4.00 per child per week, to cover administration and interest costs.Bookings cannot be taken for The BASE if there are outstanding monies owed.
To book, money for the week should be placed in an envelope with a completed booking form or with the child’s name, class and the days and full/part time sessions required written on the envelope. The envelope should be handed into the School Office and clearly marked “The BASE”. Cheques should be made payable to The Brent Primary School with the card number and expiry date clearly on the back.
Refunds will NOT be made for sessions booked but not attended. In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible for payments made to be carried forward. Parents should contact our Family Liaison Co-ordinator to discuss this further.
Children will be served a light tea each day – details available from staff.
Children attending after school activity clubs will be collected, when they have finished, by BASE staff and accompanied to The BASE for the remainder of the session.
If your child has an existing Emergency Care Plan in School, a copy will also be held at The Base. Inhalers and Epi Pens held in your child’s classroom will be transferred to The BASE whilst your child is attending. Please contact our Family Liaison Co-ordinator if your child requires medication to be administered.
The BASE operates a yellow card system. If children are disruptive and/or refuse to follow direction, they are issued with a yellow card. If a child receives 3 yellow cards, then a red card is issued which results in an appropriate suspension from The BASE. Parents will be notified of this. If a child’s behaviour is deemed unsafe, or if they intentionally damage property, a red card will be issued immediately.
Parents/carers are requested to sign their child out from the club. This confirms safe collection of your child, and the pick up time. If someone is collecting your child other than the authorised persons named on the registration form, you should inform the School or a member of staff at The BASE, this person needs to be 16+ years.

Our child care provision is non profit making; this enables the costs to be kept as low as possible.Parents are kindly requested to keep records of payments and bookings made for their own purposes. However, a receipt can be issued on request at the time of a booking. The School will always provide any information or clarification requested by HMRC or any other Government Departments.
