The Brent Primary School

'Igniting Ambition Through Learning'

This year we are celebrating our 120th Anniversary.

During December we will be transforming the Victorian Hall into a museum showing our school history and on 10th December, to celebrate the actual opening day of our school, we hope past pupils and staff will join us.

The arrangements are as follows:

9.30am - 11.30am Brent pupils born prior to 1954

1.30pm - 2.45pm Brent pupils born between 1954 to 1984

3.30pm - 4.15pm Brent pupils born after 1984

Please contact our School Office if you, or someone you know, would like to be placed on the guest list for the day. Any copies of photographs/ memorabilia would be gratefully received.

As the Headteacher of The Brent Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our friendly, caring environment where our goal is to work in partnership with parents to best benefit our children.

At The Brent Primary School, we strive to ensure that our children receive the very best education that we can deliver. Our core purpose is to enable all pupils to excel in their academic, social and personal achievement. We achieve this through creating a safe, stimulating, supportive and inclusive environment where the health, safety and well-being of all members of our community are at the heart of everything we do. At our school, we promote a passion for life-long learning through an engaging curriculum that develops independent learners. We develop citizens who will take their place confidently within a rapidly changing world at local, national and global levels. Respect for self and respect for others underpins all aspects of school life. We believe every child is entitled to enjoy his or her childhood. As a consequence, The Brent will always be a friendly and welcoming place, where laughter is often heard and definitely encouraged.

I am extremely proud of my very strong team. My staff give far in excess of what is required of them because they care deeply about The Brent. As a consequence, children made accelerated progress in all year groups last year. Our Brent children are a credit to themselves, their families and their school.
